Mixing various blue dyes into hair is fun. It makes your hair look like the oooooooooooocean.
Re-dyed my hair last night. A lovely blue.
No more nasty faded purple hairs for meeeee
Got a new hat at Wicked Faire!
It started with just the hat and goggles, and then stuff started to collect on it.. playing cards, flower made of feathers, etc…
(BONUS ROUND: I got Viktor Devonne - from White Elephant Burlesque Society - to sign one of the cards! <3
Touched up my hair with the remnants of my turquoise dye yesterday.
I haven’t decided what color I will do after this.
Finally got snakebites today.
After they heal I will be able to switch from studs to rings. Can’t wait. :)
Bored and procrastinating. Avoiding sleep.
Put a different bar in my ear. I like the star. :)
My hair is fading and I need to touch it up soon. (It’s also getting really long..!)
It’s kind of a neat mix between aqua blue, green, and light brown.
Weird, but I like it.
I’ve wanted a Tripp NYC jacket for yeeears.
I just happened to stumble across someone on ebay selling an old Tripp coat they didn’t want anymore. Scored it for about $25! Not a bad deal at all.
This jacket is the definition of “sex”. It’s just.. perfect. <3
Can’t get a good photo of it right now. I don’t have my camera, so I tried using my brother’s, and needless to say, I’m quite unwieldy with it. Oh well.
Hosting pity party at my room!
Attendance: 1
Seriously, I shouldn’t be so unnerved from simply visiting my parents. But at this point, Tumblr, Skype, and the occasional online game are the only things keeping me from completely snapping.
I’ve put up with the same old stuff from these people for years now. I probably shouldn’t even be complaining about visiting family of all things; I’m feeling a bit guilty about it, really. But I can’t help it. Spending several glorious months at Haverford, then coming back home where everything I care about is turned into a joke or an insult, it’s just… an irritating contrast. I’m tired of staying undercover and putting up with it.
But so it must be.
Just have to hold out until the 15th, and then I go back to Haverford until summer break. If I score a job or research position for over the summer, it might be a good while before I visit my family again. Which is nice in one sense, but… it will only make the contrast even more caustic the next time I’m around.
Heh. Let the games begin, I say.
Touched up with turquoise last night. It’s awesome.
Also, my new piercing has finally healed up enough that I can carefully switch jewelry in it. Currently sporting my spikey bar. Nice and pointy.
To-do list:
- Rainbow hair.
- Cartilage piercings in other ear. Not another industrial. Probably a few loops.
- Another piercing in each lobe. Two just isn’t enough.
These things will happen someday.
Someday.
